Navigating Cycle Monitoring in EMAC

Each year LEAs are assigned cycle monitoring to demonstrate programmatic compliance under ESEA. This session will provide an overview of each cycle, review basic requirements established by ADE as well as how to navigate EMAC as it relates to ESEA Programmatic Monitoring.

Making the Homeless Education Program a Success
Presenter: Silvia Chavez
This presentation will share the impact of homelessness on the education of homeless children & youth. You will become familiar with data requirements related to serving the population and identify key areas of implementation of the program. Finally we will review the NCHE assessment tool that allows LEAs to provide a success HEP program within their LEAs.

This session will review the applicable laws and guidance around the Rank & Serve provision of ESSA. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of the connection between those statutes and how they are documented within GME.

This session will provide an overview of the Teacher Input Application. The session will cover the intent and purpose of TIA, the LEA requirements, and the process for a successful completion. Also, the session will share where to locate resources and how to get support if needed.
